Ford Tri Motor w/Floats ARF |
| The first steps in modern air transport were taken when Henry Ford
started aircraft manufacturing in the late 1920's. The Kavan model replicates a float version of this popular airplane first used to
transport passengers and mail from downtown Manhattan to New York City's fist municipal airport, Floyd Bennett Field. |
|
This Kavan Foam Fun Scale ARF airplane kit features
parts constructed of lightweight, durable foam, vacuum formed plastic with lightweight parts, then factory painted as shown in the
photograph. Also included in this model are three Speed 280 electric motors with switch harness for easy installation, APC propellers,
scale decals, a complete hardware package and an illustrated assembly manual.
